Hello there everyone ,happy holidays, hope the cold weather isnt affecting your celebration, well i know its affecting mine lol
For today ive got another unused concept designi did a last year, for an animation. ive realised when working in a studio not all your ideas, are the best , or will be chosen. Many times the art will be reviewed and corrected until theyve gotten the right design they want or final look they want to see. i know when i first started in the studio my artworks were being reviewed a lot, like a lot, it was really stressful, but once both the artist and the management agree on a design its smooth sailing form there, and the project os easily executed.
at the early stage of the concept designs, i was told to design vehicles that could be seen everyday, so i designed a police car, a transportation bus popularly called Danfo in Nigeria, and a bike. 
for the police vehicle i wanted something a little compact so that it would be able to chase criminal faster, you know the smaller the vehicle the faster. i gave the vehicle that aerodynamic, look, just to give it that fast sporty feeling to it.
next we have the means of transportation which is the danfo, i had to trace this one so that i can get the right parts to futurize and get the right angle, i also traced to speed up the pace , cause deadline was getting near, lol
next is the bike, the bike design i did was a little rugged , I wanted to give it this rugged look, for both speed and strength, and it was actually a concept design for the police bikes, with the African designs on the side, but was alter changed to a normal bike.
and there you have it, the designs were later redesigned or totally scraped, but at least it gave us an idea on what step to take on the idea for the final designs that was later used.
