Hello there everyone , and welcome to another study of mine that i did a loooong time ago. As you know im a studio artist so my social media presence isnt really that good, but anyways, ill try my best to always put out the best content for you guys to enjoy, so i recently watched the youtube rendering collaboration video done by over 2400 artist on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKBs9l8jS6Q&t=289s thats the link and ill encourage you guys to check it out,so i came across this rendation
i love the simplicity, the artist didnt really go overboard with so many details, but still passed the message across, so i made a very quick illustration, im pretty sure it took the artist months to make his i used like 39 ish minutes to make mine, so the process for my illustration are as follows:
using the scale provided by the render i tried to lay out my own sketch and plan out how my scene would look like, now take note i used the rendation as a refernce i didnt trace over it, so i was able to get my own taste out of his own idea
then i added my flats
and i just went wild and started painting , since this was a quick painting, my layer formation wasnt arranged at all, i was even using some blending modes i havent used before lol
one i say to people starting digital art is, your first idea isnt always your best idea, theres always a better way to do it as you can see from my process, i did the character to be close just like in the rendation, but i later looked at it, and then i thought to my self why dont i give the environment this grand and big feeling so i reduced the character and then
boom ! we have that. always check your artwork process as you are making it, check the perspective, check the compositio, theres always a better way of putting out that idea you have to work than the way you thought of it earlier
well thats all from me for now, stay safe, stay happy, and remeber to keep creating to get creative, have a lovely day and ill see you in the next post, bye for now .
