Just finished watching 'Klaus' animated movie and saw the extensive use of snow in it and i was inspired to do a work quite similar to it. In my piece i wanted to add so many elements but i later settled for the saying , that goes more is less, and see below for the process,
firstly as always we use our trusty rule of thirds,just need to put it out there that you'll need rule of thirds when it comes creating a background sometimes it helps in character designing too
secondly the sketch
i didn't really see the importance of flats in this work cause it was somewhat of yolo work, o just winged it sooo i just switching between colors and finding the right blends and contrast
