Hey there good people,

Thanks to @barbz visit to the cradle mountains in Tasmania, and providing the lovely reference for this painting,

, he was able to take a photo that look soo, good that I just couldn't resist, so I went on I did my own painting,

@barbz you are one lucky dude. so with all that said

here's the process:

from the sketch i already knew what i was really gonna be focusing on in the reference , and that was the shed, so in my painting i made the shed a little bit bigger than its original self

going into the detailing, i tried to use brighter saturated colors that are way more brighter than the original

before i finished i added an overlay in the mountains at the far back just to give it that distant feeling , just like adding depth of field in 3d, to separate it more from the vocal point in the foreground
